Politism takes on initiatives of cultural impact with the aim of affecting popular culture through the creation and/or promotion of unique experiences. These cover a wide range of activities from production, audio curation, modern, contemporary arts, educational content to select food and beverage projects. Based on deep behavioral, George aims to affect civil consciousness and awareness with social messaging and content for brands and organisations alike- Managerial experience in building up successful businesses and events - Extensive advertising and marketing experience across multiple industry sectors- Production experience within the music industry Worked in CEE and MENA region and managed campaigns in over 35 countries. Managed offices in Athens, Dubai, Bucharest, Sofia, Budapest, Patras. Lecturer in various marketing/advertising courses and seminars with great feedback :) as well as judge and jury on E-Commerce and Advertising awards. Industry Areas: Entertainment, Start Ups, Tech, FMCG’s, Retail, Commerce, Energy, Telecoms. The story so far :) Started with sales and direct marketing in the UK, moved to Greece at the end of the “dot.com boom” and worked on projects with: an ISP, private banking and mobile marketing that evolved into Upstream. Moved on to become Business Development Director & Regional Strategist for the Olympic DDB Group. Worked on award winning accounts and helped develop DDB’s network in South East Europe before moving to Romania as Executive Director and Head of the DDB Belgrade office. Returning to Greece, entered the field of entertainment marketing with clients like Coca Cola, and Cosmote and run one of the largest music festivals across multiple cities. Set up a 3D company and went on to become Head of Marketing & Business Development at MTV. Successfully repositioned MTV, launched several interactive projects and produced MTV World Stage, airing worldwide in 120 countries. In 2011, joined Think Digital Group to set up and grow ForestView into a leading performance marketing agency with campaigns in over 35 countries and become one of the most profitable companies of the group. Won several awards as well as Google All Star Partner invited to Mountain View in 2015. Moved on to Best Price as Chief Revenue and Operations Officer and later went on to work with Webjar as Managing Director to grow and streamline business. Currently working on cultural activations with Politism.
