About George Gatej

I am a positive person who likes to be a part of an environment with people that are passionate about their work. My motto is: Any challenge is an opportunity if you look at it with the right eyes. I like to share the experience, learn new things and adapt to the trends of the industry as well as to learn from the others. The years I`ve worked in Software Industry have been an opportunity to improve myself and to grow my experience in the Agile (Scrum, Kanban) and SaFe methodologies, implementing QA for WEB based applications. I had the opportunity to work along side teams of 5 to 42 people, sharing my experience and learning along with them. At a QA department level I have created and implemented the methodology and strategy for manual and performance testing as well as automated, using a framework based on Ruby\Watir\Cucumber or Java and Appium for mobile testing. We use tools like: Jmeter, SOAP-UI, TestRail, Bamboo, Jira, Appium, Ruby, Cucumber, Watir, Selenium, DB2, PostgreSQL, GIT, Bitbucket, IBM process designer, ALM, Control-M, VHS, Oracle Dev Tools and Team City.
