I am an Energy market leader and subject matter expert with over 25 years of experience providing strategic and market analytics research, and restructuring existing analytics and data teams to improve their efficiency and delivery. I have a track record of delivering energy market forecasting products and consulting services to electric utilities, oil and gas companies, energy traders, pipelines, coal producers, large industrial energy users, independent power producers, energy software developers, and financial institutions. In my current role at Energy Exemplar, I am responsible for the production of simulation ready data sets for power and gas across all markets configured for PLEXOS and Aurora. Previously at Deloitte I was responsible for business and product development, managing client relationships, strategy, operations and management of the Market Analytics and Development teams. This includes teams focused on electricity, natural gas/LNG, liquids, and oil/refined petroleum products and an India-based data team using MarketBuilder forecasting software. I previously managed Wipro Technologies' Market Analytics focused on Power Analytics and ETRM solutions with P&L responsibility for Market Analytics within the Energy, Natural Resources and Utilities vertical as well as management of Wipro’s North American team of ETRM Business Analysts. Prior to that I was responsible for Power Research at Wood Mackenzie, Power and Fuels Advisory Products in North America, Europe, and APAC. At Ventyx/GlobalEnergy Decisions/Henwood Energy Services, I held positions of increasing responsibility within the company’s Advisors research and consulting division focusing on fuels and power market forecasting. My last roll was Chief Economist with oversight of all Advisory products (power and fuels).
