Professional and adaptable Structural Engineer who has achieved both a a MSc in Structural Engineering and a 2:1 degree in Civil Engineering with Sustainability, with hons. Over five years experience in design, working with British Standards and Euro codes for the following core materials; timber; steel; masonry; and concrete. This includes the use of AutoCAD, accurate execution of hand completed and software based calculations, and production of technical specifications. Clear communicator used to working with a variety of clients from local councils, private companies to personal home owners. Able to handle client projects from cradle to grave, working through all stages from initial discussion on client requirements, to conducting dimensional survey, final design, submission for planning and building control, management of tender process via JCT 2016 contracts, and working with the appointed contractor through to completion. Additional experience in Party Wall, building surveying and CDM2015. Working towards Chartership with IstructE and very keen to increase and improve on existing knowledge and skills.
