From The Newt to The Frog! One of the most enjoyable parts of my London Journey is the connections made during this period. Finals of 2020 Young Chef and Young Waiter competition held in Dubai UAE. Presented with award for UK Young Waiter 3rd place by Robert Walton MBE, President of the Restaurant Association, Adam Handling and Simon King at the London Pavilion at the Dubai EXPO 2020. Accepted an offer to join 'The Newt in Somerset' as Maître D’ ‘The Botanical Rooms’, main restaurant. Setting the standards of service while providing guests with an experience of elegant seasonal dining, inspired by produce from the abundant 23-acre estate also containing roaming herds of Deer and Buffalo plus catch from Dorset coast. Ensuring the restaurant is kept clean and tidy with smooth efficient service within a friendly and comfortable atmosphere. Recognition received from Julien Marchand Assistant General Manager. “Consistently impressing restaurant guests with his attentive, memorable service”. Looking for opportunities to show the passion of hospitality and to make every guest want to return. Quality of service while creating memorable experiences is the passion and ambition, always looking to improve both and offer innovative ideas.
