Graduate of High Point University seeking a Full-Time Position to Utilize Skills in Communications & Marketing. My interest lies in the Advertising industry, specifically the fields of Market Research, Sales, and Social Media. As a student I became fascinated with media and communications when I became aware of how media and popular culture could reflect and influence the attitudes, behaviors, beliefs, customs and tastes of people’s everyday life. As a Research Fellow at Consumers Research, I published consumer related news articles on health and technology. In addition, I had the opportunity to analyze social media statistics and create a presentation about how effective the organization was in reaching their target audience through the company's social media platforms. My report included recommendations for areas of improvement. Working as a Social Media Consultant for Ascension 336 was a tremendous opportunity for me to utilize the skills I have acquired. My client was Appalachian Hardwood. Through my efforts I increased the activity on their social media pages, provided them with strategies for growth and created a promotional video to highlight their products and services. Colleagues and clients enjoy working with me because I make an effort to stay in contact with clients, I am sociable in a group, willing to take charge when needed and I do what is asked of me. I have a profound drive to contribute to the success of the team anyway I can and am always willing to learn and try new things. While working as a waiter and as a consultant for Ascension 336 I attained exceptional customer service skills. I am a diligent and organized worker who sets goals to make sure I complete tasks effectively.
