About George Jones

I am currently the Sr. Director of Investment Technology at Galliard Capital Management. My area is responsible for developing and maintaining Galliard’s proprietary system, developing automated business processes, providing production support, providing internal support of 3rd party vendor systems, applying project management for system development/implementations, providing data management and assisting in strategic IT planning for the firm. I have 31 years experience in the investment operations and accounting industry. My functional expertise includes investment accounting/operations, business technology support, software development life cycle (waterfall/agile development), business and systems analysis, change management, project management, data management, strategic planning, business and systems implementation and vendor management. My investment systems expertise includes the PAM for Investments application. I served as a member of the PAM for Investments User Steering Committee from 2001 – 2006 which partnered with State Street Global Exchange to provide feedback on future enhancements for the State Street Global Exchange PAM for Investment client base. Previous employers were Securian Financial (Manager, Financial Management Technology) and Thrivent Financial (Sr. Business Consultant). I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration specializing in Accounting from Augsburg University located in Minneapolis, MN. I am a member of the Twin Cities Fellow, Life Management Institute Society.
