George Kunkel is an Expert EMC Educator, Designer & Businessman.* Actively involved in EMC Design for over 50 years * Founder and CEO of Spira Manufacturing Corporation - Designed, developed and patented the “Spira” gasket and a whole family of exceptional EMI/RFI shielding gaskets and filters.* B.S. and M.S. degrees in Engineering from UCLA * Designed, developed & taught courses at UCLA Extension - “System EMC Design”: The theory and practice associated with grounding, bonding, shielding, filtering and wire coupling for Electromagnetic Compatibility of an electrical/electronic system- “System Integration of Large Electronic Systems”: Consisted of EMC design with an emphasis on the effects transmission line theory and grounding has on the ability to send and receive accurate signals.* Active in the EMC Society for almost 50 years.
