About George Laryea

Policy Analyst with excellent collaboration and rigorous analytical skills, well versed in public policy analysis along with productive work ethics and committed to leading change. My exposure to different cultures allows me to bring best practices to my work. I possess excellent communication skills including presentations, facilitation, training, and reporting. My interests are in public policy analysis, local governance and decentralization, local economic development and Art. I have contributed to several publications untaken by the Inter Ministerial Coordinating Committee on Decentralisation and served on several committees for the advancement of decentralization in Ghana. My work as a policy analyst has afforded me the opportunity to participate in international conferences and travel across nations where decentralization is practiced to learn best practices. I am currently studying towards a PhD in Public Administration and Policy Management at the University of Ghana.
