George Tianjian Lee completed a Master's degree in economics at Temple University in May 2013. Knowledge and topics of interest: decision theory, business planning and resource allocation, quality control, operations management, statistical analysis, programming (Stata, SAS, Matlab), time-series analysis, geography and urban planning, and market behavior (part of microeconomics). Sample Research Papers: 1) Determining the contributing economic, social, and demographic factors to violent crime rates across U.S. cities (econometrics project). 2) Analyzing public transportation ridership data for agencies with respect to their metro areas' populations for seasonal trends, movements, and looking for possible strategies for forecasting.
