George Malekkos is a Software Innovation Architect and serial entrepreneur with over 30 years of experience in the IT industry. He is the CEO & Founder of Powersoft, established in 1993, now one of the leading providers of business software solutions in Cyprus and a market leader in fashion retail ERP. George is deeply passionate about AI, cloud computing, and cutting-edge technologies, and he studies and works daily with AI to stay ahead of the innovation curve. His vision is bold: to build self-evolving, AI-powered software that rebuilds itself yearly based on real usage — software that lives, learns, and improves. Since 2011, George has been a member of the Cloud Standards Customer Council (CSCC), collaborating with global tech giants like Microsoft, IBM, and Oracle to shape cloud standards. He's also a member of the Cyprus National e-Invoicing Platform, Vice President of CITEA(Cyprus Information Technology Enterprises Association), and an advisor on EU Structural Fund grants. Over the years, he has led European consortiums, developed impactful digital health platforms, and continues to empower businesses through technology. He's also a Guest Instructor at major Cypriot universities, MBA mentor, and motivational speaker on innovation, cloud, and the retail tech industry. George proudly serves as a WSA National Expert, a member of the Digital Europe Advisory Council, and a Board Member of OEB.
