About George Meredith

About Me: Hi, I'm an enthusiastic professional leading teams in cybersecurity, technical operations, and AI. My current role involves managing a diligent cybersecurity team, focusing on 24/7 incident response, security operations and upholding security compliance. I also oversee our internal technical operations, navigating the complexities of both on-prem and cloud-based systems. My journey in AI leadership includes successfully guiding a project that contributes to health and safety in New Zealand. This experience has been both challenging and rewarding, highlighting the impact of collaborative teamwork and innovative thinking. Outside the office, I'm a qualified ski and snowboard instructor, a role that allows me to share my passion for snowsports while fostering a spirit of learning and camaraderie. Volunteering with the Royal New Zealand Coastguard has been an enriching experience, teaching me valuable lessons in teamwork, quick decision-making, and community service – skills that I believe are essential in any professional setting. Connect with Me: I enjoy connecting with individuals from various fields, whether it's cybersecurity, AI, technical operations, or simply sharing a love for snowsports and sailing. If you're interested in exchanging ideas, discussing industry trends, or exploring collaborative opportunities, feel free to reach out.
