About George Mikhail

Numerous tutoring experiences have allowed me to help others while developing skills like communication and problem-solving that will be crucial in the medical field. I assisted my peers at Saint Louis University High School with struggles in their science classes through the SciLab tutoring. I assisted students from a nearby public school who had fallen behind in regular coursework and had to take the HiSET (high school equivalency test) in a final attempt to get their diploma through the Affton High School APEX Learning Center. I have continued this journey of tutoring with kindergarteners at Siegel Elementary, a Saint Louis Public School that is partnered with Overground Railroad at Saint Louis University. I practiced having lives dependent on my vigilance and honing my ability to stay composed under pressure through work as a Lifeguard at Sunset Hills Aquatic Facility. I have continued to strive to be a man for others while seeing what a healthcare environment is like through volunteering at Mercy Jefferson in Festus, Missouri. I have built my activities around my goal of pursuing a career in medicine along with the value of being a man for others that has been instilled in me through my years of Jesuit education.
