Background

About George Oganda

My research is on regenerative agriculture practices and their impacts on insect pest pressure, soil fertility, and yield in open-field tomato and cucumber production. Key strengths that I believe would support my success include being a collaborative team member in scientific research in regenerative agriculture and sustainable production methods. I have had intensive hands-on agricultural experience in both open fields and greenhouse set up in fruit and vegetable productions. I have experience working with a team in an experimental set-up with the capability to influence their growth and also learn from them along the chain of target delivery. I believe the future of food production will and should be centered on regenerative management means to address our deteriorating soil health and ensure a healthy ecosystem to also mitigate climate change.#Regenerate then Emulate
