About George Sampson

I started my financial planning career at Carbon Financial Partners Ltd on their Graduate Trainee Programme in 2018. I am now a chartered financial planner, having obtained the advanced diploma in financial planning in July 2022.My current role involves supporting the financial planning team and helping clients in a range of different areas, both pre and post-retirement. These include-Suitability of savings, investments & pensions-Building robust financial plans-Passing on wealth to the wider family -Improving tax efficiencyOur aim at Carbon is to start with the end in mind, working towards our client's personal goals. This could be to retire early, tick off any bucket list items, or help children onto the property ladder. We then put a strategy in place to provide peace of mind that you can do all the things you want to do in life. Often the future is not as far away as you might think! Outside of work I spend most of my time on the golf course, playing off a scratch handicap. This will mainly be down at the Royal Burgess Golfing Society or down the coast at either North Berwick or Carnoustie.
