About George Saouma

A wealth of experience in fintech and personal lending is what led me to take up the newly created role at Jacaranda Finance, and I've risen to the challenge like a lock at a lineout (yes, I’m a mad rugby union fan!) Creating further value for our partners and enhancing our products to better serve our customers is my mission. ‘Products’ might seem like an inanimate concept, but as far as I’m concerned, people lie at the heart of products and partnerships. My role involves ideating and implementing winning solutions that satisfy both our partners and our direct customer clientele. The trickier the task at hand, the greater my satisfaction in forging a winning solution – this is a conversion I am adept at. The diversity of needs and interactions across these key partner and direct customer relationships keeps things interesting – much like my passion for wine, variety is key; it encourages the mind to keep expanding. I’m an alumnus of Macquarie University and an education straddling finance and modern history has provided me with a solid foundation for both my career, and my keen interests outside of work, which include art, theatre, and wine.
