I left the financial service industry in December 2019 due to the birth of my son, and the 3 hours daily commute was no longer viable. I planned to have a year out from conventional work. However, my inability to sit still and not work led to my now Business partner and I seeking out an opportunity within the home delivery sector and started our own home delivery company in February 2020 having secured a contract with a national furniture company to be their sole delivery partner. We have spent the last 3 years building our reputation and exposure within the industry and marketplace. We have significantly scaled up our operation and have partnerships with several reputable brands such as IKEA, Magnet kitchens and Furniture Village. I remain an extremely credible and personable individual with over seven years’ experience as a Project Manager, coupled with Business Analysis. Experience of providing in-depth analytical and portfolio management skills, whilst ensuring that projects are delivered from inception to delivery within time, cost and quality parameters. Excellent interpersonal, aptitude and self-motivation skills, with a proactive and proven track record of problem solving combined with sound IT knowledge.
