About George Sun
I am a current undergraduate student at the University of Michigan, majoring in Economics and Mathematics, with a strong interest in financial markets, business analysis, and entrepreneurship. I am also a member of the Economic Investment Committee, the Department of Economics’ premier investment club, where I apply my analytical and financial skills to manage a paper account and aim to outperform the S&P 500. In addition, I am a writer for the Michigan Journal of Economics, where I have published three papers covering different economic topics, such as financial literacy, AI, and innovation, and I am planning to publish three more papers this semester. I am also the founder of Sun Incubator, a social venture that sponsors local high schools with funding to support student entrepreneurship.
