About George Vunovic

George Vunovic, Vice President, Medical Equipment Management, leads the effort to encourage more vendors to see OC Reilly as a true change agent in support of clients in the healthcare space. Operating from a deep appreciation and passion for biomedical engineering, George helps clients assess new concepts and technologies, working with vendors to provide hospitals and healthcare systems with economical and innovative ideas. Prior to joining OC Reilly, George served as vice president/chief operating officer of BioTronics Inc, the technology management division of the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC), and as corporate director of biomedical services for UPMC, where he led the consolidation of all biomedical/imaging services for the 18-hospital system by re-engineering the delivery model for medical equipment management and services, resulting in annual cost savings more than $25 million. George earned both associate and bachelor’s degrees in biomedical equipment technology and electrical engineering, respectively, from The Pennsylvania State University. He holds national certifications in Biomedical Equipment Technology and Clinical Engineering.
