About George Weber

George Weber is a Senior Executive Leader with extensive experience as a full time CEO of four different organizations with equivalent experience in Board Governance in both the for profit, and not for profit sectors for over 30 years. He currently serves as Chair of the Board of Directors, Northoff Mental Health Diagnostics Ltd, a privately held company. In addition, he serves as Chair of the Board of Calian Group Ltd, a publicly traded company listed on the TSX. He also acts as President & CEO of WebX Consulting Group, providing services in Board Governance and Executive Leadership.Over the course of his career, he has served as Secretary-General & CEO of the International Red Cross ad Red Crescent (International Federation) in Geneva Switzerland; as President & CEO of the Royal Ottawa Health Care Group (ROHCG - a specialized Mental Health Hospital Group and Academic Health Sciences Center); and as Executive Director & CEO of the Canadian Dental Association (CDA). He was the founding CEO of Continuation Services Inc, a for profit spinoff of the CDA.He is currently or has served as a Chair or Member of a number of International or National Boards of Directors over the years.He is a Certified Corporate Director,(ICD.D) from the Institute of Corporate Directors and is Audit Committee Certified (ACC) from the Directors College,(a joint venture of McMaster's Degroote School of Business and The Conference Board of Canada.) He is trilingual and holds a Master's Degree from McGill University and has completed the Advanced Management Program from the Graduate School of Business Administration, Harvard University, and the International Program for Board Members from the Institute of Management Development in Lausanne Switzerland. He has been awarded a number of International, National State and Organizational Awards.
