I am a conscientious, commercially minded Senior Project Manager and Programme Manager with extensive experience leading large, complex projects and small programmes. Tenacious and able to quickly navigate through ambiguity, I help stakeholders arrive at well informed, validated decisions. I value attention to detail but have the experience to identify the degree of detail appropriate to each specific situation. I typically work in customer facing roles, managing commercial relationships with 3rd parties and partners. I have held budgetary responsibility for projects and programmes ranging from £1m to £5m per annum. I have managed strategic and tactical projects, IT development across the full Software Development lifecycle (SDLC), significant business change, transformation and restructuring. I have managed the procurement and implementation of COTS / packages, business and technical services. I write business cases, conduct feasibility studies and run proof of concept project phases. I have managed many projects through all stages of delivery from initiation into operational running and closure. I have nearly 40 years of running projects within regulated sectors: utilities, pharmaceuticals, medical products and briefly finance. I led Eon Energy Wholesale IT in gaining Sarbanes Oxley (SarBox) compliance and managed the project that provided Energy Business relief to nBs customers. I have extensive project audit and rescue experience gained with Deloitte, Eon, Siemens, Vistra, Unilever and Severn-Trent.
