As a recent graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from San Diego State University, I am driven by my passion for applying engineering principles to real-world challenges. During my academic journey, I honed my skills in sketching, designing, and assembling mechanical components to create innovative systems. My hands-on experience as a Design Engineer Intern at SC Engineers provided me with valuable insights into HVAC systems for commercial and industrial buildings. I actively contributed to load calculations, equipment selection, and precise ductwork design. This internship allowed me to utilize industry-standard software like AutoCAD and Revit MEP, ensuring compliance with rigorous standards and regulations. My primary goal is to continually enhance my expertise in 3D design and manufacturing processes to develop high-quality products. Proficient in SolidWorks and AutoCAD, I have a knack for transforming ideas into detailed 3D models and engineering drawings. My internship experience reinforced the importance of precision and attention to detail in creating efficient systems. During my academic pursuits, I became proficient in simulation tools such as Ansys software. I applied these tools to simulate and analyze new designs, ensuring they met performance requirements and identifying potential issues early in the development process. This experience further sharpened my analytical and problem-solving skills.
