About Georges Tanbe

I was born in Thionville, France and grew up in Syria. I graduated from the University of Aleppo with a medical degree in 2005. I completed my internal medicine residency at Tufts University and went on to complete my cardiovascular fellowship training at Maine Medical Center in Portland, Maine. I then joined the University of Massachusetts were i completed my interventional cardiology fellowship training followed by a vascular peripheral training at Prairie Heart Institute in Springfield, Illinois. I am board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease, interventional cardiology and nuclear cardiology imaging. I have special interest in coronary angioplasty particularly through the radial approach, endovascular peripheral /aortic interventions, transcutaneous aortic valve replacement and co-founder of the limb salvage program at Spring Valley Hospital. I joined the heart center of Nevada in 2014 and became a partner in late 2016. I am currently the cardiology medical director at Spring Valley Hospital and have been since 2016.
