About Georgia Grieve

I am a Librarian, Museums Professional and User Experience Designer. My interests are in exploring the intersection of technology and arts & culture. I strive to create things that entertain, amuse, and challenge perceptions of what the world online can and should be. Topics of interest include: the decolonization of museums, accessibility, visitor experience, and participatory design. I recently finished a Combined Masters Degree, studying Museum Studies and User Experience Design in the Faculty of Information at the University of Toronto. Previously I studied Advertising and Graphic design at Humber college, and Studio Art & Art History at the University of Guelph. In the summer of 2016 I was selected to participate in Humber College’s Transmedia Fellowship where I collaborated with students and faculty to create an interactive, 360°, virtual tour of Humber’s Lakeshore Campus This, in combination with summers spent working at the Orillia Museum of Art & History ignited my interest in studying UX Design and Museum Studies in order to create in-gallery physical/digital interactives and online exhibitions.
