Experienced Certified Public Accountant with a demonstrated history of working in the marketing and advertising industry. Recently promoted to partner at Kidd & Kidd, P.C. which provides accounting, tax and consulting services to small businesses and individuals. Skilled in Accounting Consulting, Tax Preparation, and Tax Planning. Strong accounting professional graduated from The Wharton School at University of Pennsylvania with additional undergraduate and graduate level accounting courses from Georgia State University. Georgia Kidd was born in Atlanta, Georgia and grew up in Roswell, a suburb of Atlanta. After attending college out of state she decided to return to Atlanta to work at advertising and marketing firm Phase 3 Marketing & Communications. In 2012 she decided to redirect her career path to accounting and enrolled at Georgia State University where she took all necessary accounting classes to be eligible to take the Certified Public Accountant exam. She passed the four part exam in 6 months. During her time at Georgia State and while taking the exam, Georgia joined her father Stephen Kidd, a practicing CPA for 43 years. As of January 2015 she has worked full time at Stephen C. Kidd P.C. and became a Certified Public Accountant licensed to practice in Georgia in May 2015. Georgia is excited to follow in her father's footsteps and enjoys learning from his many years of experience while also becoming educated on the ever changing tax accounting landscape. Georgia is a member of the American Institute of CPAs, the American Woman's Society of CPA's, and the Georgia Society of CPA's. In addition, she is a Board Member of the American Woman's Society of CPA's - Georgia Chapter.
