About Georgia Rex

I’m a highly experienced Chief Stewardess with over a decade in the yachting industry, joining in 2014 and working as either Head of Service or Chief Stew since 2016. I’ve worked on four high-profile 100m+ yachts and am currently Chief Stew on a 100m+ MY. I’ve also held a Chief Stew/ Purser role managing a rotational crew of 31 and completed the IAMI GUEST Purser course. During three years ashore, I worked as Brand Manager for an IAMI GUEST-accredited training academy, became an IAMI GUEST Certified Trainer, and helped develop course content for the Chief Stewardess CoC. My experience includes exceptional guest service, building interior systems from scratch, managing world-cruising itineraries, shipyard periods, warranty works, and leading back-to-back guest trips with 40+ people. I’ve also been involved in the sale and handover of three 100m+ yachts. I’m known for being calm, clear, and consistent — someone who listens, communicates well, and just gets things done. I take pride in creating a supportive, happy environment for my team, and bring a warm, positive energy to everything I do, even in high-pressure situations. Outside of work, I am usually found lifting weights in the gym or doing today. I also love reading, being in the sunshine, and learning. I’m always working through an online course — whether it’s financial investing, computer coding, health coaching or something totally new.
