About Georgie Brimer

I'm a university student who loves being part of a community, taking on challenges, and trying new things.Right now, I'm juggling two degrees at Deakin University: one in Law and the other in International Studies. This combo perfectly reflects my interests—the logical and analytical aspects of law, and the more thoughtful and worldly side of International Studies.Back in high school, I used to volunteer at a charity op shop. It was my first taste of working for a good cause, and I loved being able to give back to my community.Even though I'm still in university, I've managed to gain some really valuable experience outside of my classes. I've spent four years working with the student-run representative body for Deakin students, known as DUSA. It's been a blast helping out fellow students and making our university community stronger.I'm eager to keep pushing myself and gaining more professional experience in the future, especially in roles where I can make a positive impact.
