About Georgina Penhall

I completed a Bachelor of Design Studies in 2010 and a Masters of Architecture at the University of Adelaide in 2012. After starting my career in a commercial architecture practice, I moved into residential architecture and interior architecture in a boutique studio in 2010, becoming Co-director in 2013 for 3 years and taking a lead in the business development. In 2016 I moved to Singapore in pursuit of widening my knowledge and experience in Hospitality and large scale Interior Design projects. I have since gained experience in working with several Internationally renown Brands, leading design teams and working with a wide range of consultants and contractors worldwide. Central to my philosophy for the production and consideration of architecture and Interiors, is an intent to create physical structures and landscapes that are both exciting in form and delightful to inhabit, leading to new ways of viewing and being in the world. I feel my Indonesian heritage has added an aesthetic of colour, texture and vibrancy to the projects I work on. I recognise that design potential arises from a study of tradition, aesthetics, civic expectation, design methodologies and construction practices. The success of a project is founded on nurturing positive, valuable and collaborative relationships with clients and operators.
