About Ger Galvin
I joined Guinness/UDV as a Graduate Management trainee in 1992 and worked in a variety of different supply chain roles within Diageo across 4 breweries and a Beverage Blending Agent (BBA) plant. I left Diageo in 2007 to establish SAPPHIRE Ltd where we provide project management, technical, engineering and training support to companies in the food and drinks sector. I set up the Hibernian Brewing School was set up in 2015 and it operates side by side with SAPPHIRE. Since 2019 I am involved in and have been managing large and small scale projects in the distilling industry in USA and Ireland.
