I am a highly experienced servant leader, business executive, strategic advisor, and business negotiator with a strong background in corporate finance. I believe the role of a CFO as a back-office, pure bookkeeper is outdated, and is no longer where a CFO adds the most value. A CFO does need to possess enough technical knowledge and a strong ethical compass to prepare accurate financial statements as a bare minimum requirement. However, I believe the CFO role adds the most value in leveraging data analytics and financial analysis to influence and to make key strategic decisions that are forward-looking in nature. Serving as a strong leader also is needed to gain this level of influence and trust. Today, I believe a CFO needs to be a strong strategic partner for the Executive team and to serve as a strong leader. I bring a well-rounded blend of technical expertise, leadership acumen, and strategic vision essential for a top-tier CFO. My approach to problem-solving is streamlined, focusing on critical data to inform decisions. I'm a swift learner and have a keen understanding of areas where I can further hone my skills to align with workplace culture. As a leader, I prioritize teamwork to reach our goals, but I'm equally prepared to take the lead when the situation demands. I like to stay active and fit, and one of the primary ways I do that is by playing ultimate frisbee for a club team. Within the age division that we play in, the team is quite competitive. Life is busy, but when I am on the field playing ultimate, life is bliss.
