About Gerald Davis

Empowering Others By Reaching Within | A Passion for Community Engagement My passion embodies community outreach, program development and evaluation, case management, strategic planning, and promoting self-sufficiency of individuals and families. I have served in the capacity of a case manager, liaison, coordinator, director, and an administrator within the non-profit sector. My approach is that of a strengths perspective, as I seek to empower individuals and families within the community-at-large and within themselves. I bring over ten years of experience working with at-risk youth, families, and non-profit organizations. I have had the opportunity to work with transitional housing for homeless families in the midlands area for nine years, an emergency shelter, group home, domestic violence, and more recently foster care. Hannah House, A Christ Central Ministry, is a Christian-Based Transitional Housing Facility for homeless women and children serving 12 single women and 8 families. Within my leadership, we have revamped the organization’s mission and vision, and innovative programming. We have held an 80% success rate for those graduating from the program and 90% of our women to find and maintain employment.
