About Gerald Falter

The wind blows, the sun shines. Every day again. We convert natural energy into electricity for direct consumption or store it so that we have enough available at all times. We produce most of it ourselves because it is cheap and because it makes us independent. Democracy not only in politics, but also in the choice of energy sources. We take care of ourselves, our neighboring countries and take responsibility for the well-being of all people on this planet. No dirt and no dirty business. Every country looks at us and wants to do exactly the same. By “we” I mean Germany and its citizens. That's how it works right now, isn't it? No, not at all. For me there are no logical reasons, but there are complex connections why things work differently. I partly and partly don't understand these connections. People are complex. The environment is complex. That's why it's important to work together on the big issues facing humanity. One of these is the energy transition. The energy transition is also my subject area, which I work on every day to make my contribution. The discussion about the energy supply of the future contains a lot of old thinking, reservations and disinformation. I fight against it because I believe in change. It's hard and at the same time unavoidable for me. There is only one way. Electrify Everything. It‘s possible. Best regards, Gerald Falter
