About Gerald Girard

I have extensive experience in the agriculture field. In those years I have been involved in the design and delivery of identity preservation programs at multiple levels. I also originated, merchandised and traded various cereals and canola. In these roles I would often compile, maintain and present various market analysis, production estimates, and supply and demand evolution tables. I have extensive experience in trading futures on the ICE and CBOT as well as some experience fixing forex and natural gas. I have a solid history of developing and leading teams. Some of these results include, developing and implementing business and origination plans with internal and external partners. Developing and implementing internal and external websites. And managing financial risk along with merchandising responsibilities. My most recent role is Director of Barley Procurement for Malteurop where i'm responsible for leading barley procurement teams responsible for barley supply chains in Canada, the US and Northern Mexico.
