I am a Clinical Laboratory Information System (LIS) Consultant/Specialist and Medical Technologist (MT-ASCP) with 20 plus years of experience in LIS and clinical laboratory testing. I am proficient in the areas of microbiology, chemistry, hematology and molecular diagnostics. I have an organized profile and this allows me to carry out analysis in a correct and organized way, contributing to improving production. I focus on quality, which allows me to always deliver excellent work to avoid repetitions and increase customer satisfaction. I have extensive experience in multiple LIS systems (Epic Beaker/SCC Soft/Cerner/Sunquest) and Middleware (Data Innovations/Abbott RALS/Roche Cobas/Sysmex/Beckman-Coulter). I have worked on Roche Cobas Infinity and Navify Portal and Sysmex Caresphere. I have experience in multiple instrument platforms including Beckman/Coulter, BD (Becton/Dickinson), bioMerieux, Hologic, Diasorin, Sysmex and Roche Cobas. I applied my technical knowledge and skills to implement numerous test platforms, kit tests and LDT (Laboratory Developed Tests). I have also designed platform testing validations and verifications. As an LIS specialist I have performed extensive testing, validations, analysis and interface testing on multiple instrument platforms, middleware and LIS systems. I have written Standard Operating Procedures and final validation/verification reports. I organized work teams and collaborated with different departments to lead process improvement projects, achieving very favorable results. These improvements were then applied to other organizations within the company. I have extensive knowledge in regulatory compliance including CAP, CLIA, Washington State Department of Health, FDA, OSHA and HIPAA regulations. I possess a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification and a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
