About Gerald Hinteregger

For me, the most fascinating aspect of working with people and organisations is when potentiality becomes actuality: when ideas turn into tangible things, high-flying ambitions and visions become reality and the often choked potential of human beings is unleashed and allowed to bloom and bear fruit. Transformation of complex socio-economic systems and individuals has been my passion since the beginning of my work life. I am an organisational consultant with focus on strategy, innovation, change and leadership as well as a coach for leaders and teams. I help my clients to shape their organisations into highly effective systems: starting with the design of purposeful and compelling strategies, the implementation of lean and functional structures and processes as well as the development of enabling cultures and communication patterns. When describing my role, I use the words advisor and catalyst. To me, being an advisor means to be a trusted long-term partner and confidant to my clients for all issues arising from leading an organisation – the more complex and trickier the better. The term catalyst in chemistry denotes “a substance that speeds up a chemical reaction, but is not consumed by the reaction”: I always see it as my task to make any transformation endeavour as effective as possible – by not staying on the sideline but going full-in with everything I can bring to the game.
