About Gerald Moore

Gerry Moore is the former COO and Co-founder of ZiipRoom, a start-up communications software company, where he oversaw finance, administration, and operations. Mr. Moore relentlessly strives for continuous improvement, which has led to his growing and scaling several organizations. He has successfully turned around three underperforming organizations and launched two new businesses. Gerry is experienced in financial planning and analysis, structuring organizations, and re-engineering business processes. He is known among his peers as a natural planner and organizer, and excels at unpacking the key issues from complex problems to make objective decisions. Mr. Moore achieves results by building close relationships with colleagues, partners and clients, using an inclusive leadership style and effective problem solving. Gerry has an extensive background in the technology and healthcare industries, having met with and evaluated the business and financial strategies of thousands of rapidly growing companies in his two decades in the investment management industry. Prior to his investment career, he spent four years in the semiconductor industry, where he developed expertise in product development, go-to-market strategy, and market share growth initiatives. An active angel investor with Launchpad Venture Group and Converge Venture Partners, Mr. Moore has invested in, refined business plans, and developed funding strategies for a range of start-up companies. He also applies his management expertise as board treasurer and finance/audit committee chair of several non-profit organizations and private companies.
