Gerald’s skills are drawn from 24 years of experience in the technical services industry, including several years in the manufacturing and engineering environments. These skills include applications development and support, database administration, systems administration, escalation management, project management, technical consulting, and servicing computer systems, storage systems, printing and imaging systems, process equipment, and high voltage systems and equipment. He is accustomed to timely, critical support of applications, infrastructure, systems, and equipment in diverse environments. Prior to his current role with the Gold Group of Companies, Gerald was a Customer Service Representative, Problem Escalation Manager, and Network Product Readiness Manager for Hewlett-Packard's Technical Solutions Group in Canada. Gerald has Hewlett-Packard certifications in High Availability environment support, HP-UX operating system support, selected Enterprise Systems platform support, SAN and NAS implementation and support, and CISCO/Multi-Vendor Network product support. Gerald further developed his career at HP by taking on the roles of Problem Escalation Management, Product Readiness Management, and Total Customer Satisfaction & Quality team member. In these roles, he utilized his skills in communication, diplomacy, administration, and management to increase customer loyalty, test and confirm field processes, and develop global relationships with team members to enable timely completion of projects. Gerald has completed courses in Network Technologies and Project Management, and has a Diploma in Industrial Electronics Technology from SIAST, Kelsey Campus in Saskatoon, SK.
