Food sustainability professional with 20+ years' experience working to nurture a better future for and through food. As a systems thinker, pragmatic optimist,'critical friend' and problem-solver, I help food businesses and non-profits to make sense of complex sustainability challenges, to join up dots across issues, to establish and raise their ambitions for positive impact, and to make better decisions today for the longer-term future of people and planet. I have worked extensively across food & beverage sectors and along the value chain, with sustainability champions and senior decision-makers across functions and up to Board level, in organisations of all shapes and sizes, supporting them - as individual organisations or through different forms of multi-stakeholder collaboration - to develop shared ambitions, and to align their thinking, strategies, actions and innovation with what the world really needs. I provide a combination of systems change expertise, careful and engaging design/facilitation of discussions, workshops and project processes, constructive challenge, and a passion for achieving a better future for food & farming. Example focus areas include regenerative agriculture and agro-ecology; foodservice, gastronomy and culinary skills; healthy, sustainable diets, nutrition and the future of protein; ethical trade and supply chains; and more.
