About Geraldine Magers

Gerri provides leadership, large scale project management oversight, and business develop expertise as a partner for the Charis Consulting Group. Charis executives provide project management, PMO and system implementation capabilities employing human centered design to achieve business value for their customers. Charis primarily serves State and Local governments agencies and departments with legacy modernization and serve both small and large clients providing streamlined services to millions of citizens. Formerly, Gerri held many key positions with CGI and the State of California. As a CGI VP, Gerri was fundamental in building the CGI State and Local Account with responsibility for P&L and system delivery. In addition, she served as the CGI project director for major system integration implementations such as the Enterprise to Data Revenue Project for FTB, a legacy revitalization project, and for Department of Child Support Services, CCSAS project as its Implementation Director. As the Chief Deputy Director of the State of CA Health and Welfare Data Center, Gerri managed large system integration projects and data center operations. She is proud to have been awarded the State’s IT Hall of Fame award in 2013. Gerri's private and extensive public sector experience gives her a unique perspective in understanding, solving, and respecting client challenges.
