ABOUT GERALDINE(GERRI) SCOTTMs. Scott was born in Australia and educated both here and overseas. She has 16 years of experience in financial services and the global asset management industry.She studied Business Management at Griffith University in Australia and International Business at the University of Puget Sound in the United States. She completed, via correspondence, an Advanced Diploma of Financial Services (Financial Planning) through Deakin University (Australia) whilst working in London.Based in Vancouver and London, she spent 12 years working abroad, employed by Yorkton Securities (Canada), State Street Global Asset Management (UK) and Scudder Kemper Asset Management (UK & USA). Her focus was Financial Advisor/Broker Education, global sales, and marketing and distribution of Managed Investments.In February of 2005 in Perth, Western Australia, Ms. Scott registered and incorporated Demèter Wealth Management – a fee for service Financial Advisory Group - focused on providing;1. financial certainty for clients through the provision of carefully constructed, benchmarked and managed financial plans and2. financial certainty for not-for-profit organizations through the provision of reliable, ongoing, committed funding for specific projects. Ms. Scott is the Managing Director of Demèter Wealth Management, Trustee for the Demeter Benevolent Foundation and a current member of the Australian Financial Planning Association.
