I've worn a number of hats over the years - Financial Controller, Assistant Vice President – Finance, Department Head - Strategic Analytics, Chief Financial Officer, and General Manager - Strategy & Shared Services. As a result, I gained diverse corporate experience and developed advanced skills in analytics. I have a knack for focusing on the why as opposed to what is happening, but more importantly, how data can be used to solve problems, innovate and how it can influence predictive analysis/analytics. A few accomplishments I'm proud to include are- Improved decision-making processes by leading initiatives to increase usage of corporate dashboards and analytics (requests) by over 50% in eight months- Increased published dashboards 30% by introducing a structured and streamlined data dictionary- Reduced the number of long outstanding Management Letter points by 55% over two years- Led the closure of the single largest Trinidad corporate denominated bond – fully underwritten by a financial institution- Raised $400M via a 144A/Reg S Corporate Bond offering while serving as CFO.
