About Gerard Faherty

I am creative person who takes pride getting the job done. I have over ten years experience in retail, dealing with customers and coworkers comes naturally to me. I enjoy working with others to complete a task but am just as happy to work on own initiative. I have a keen interest in the arts, I love to act, write and direct in spare time. I have made a number of short films and hope to branch out into writing and directing my own theatre shows in the future. Working as an actor has given me a deep understanding of how I operate and the value of teamwork. Bringing a cohesive and believable story to an audience requires deep intrapersonal and interpersonal skills. I have completed a BA Honours degree in English with Drama in UCD, where I transferred my creative interests into a technically non-creative environment. I believe that all skills are transferable and strive on the opportunity to put this belief into practice.
