About Gerard Smook

Quality Assurance Specialist: In my nearly 40 years of experience, I have fulfilled various leadership and supporting functions in all aspects of quality management from supplier to customer. The core of my career is setting up, implementing and maintaining management systems, taking my responsibility and motivating participants. I have conducted many internal and external audits at various levels, supervised certification audits and (FDA) inspections and prepared organisations for it successfully. Currently I work for a certification body as Quality Lead Auditor. Some of my other characteristics are: not give up easily, empathy, pervasive, seeing the big picture and connecting, analysing and interpreting, visualising and documenting information. I am at my best as a kind of management "side kick" in terms of quality, business processes, information analysis or similar in an enthusiastic team.
