About Gerco Angenent
My background is molecular biology and since 1991 I am studying the molecular regulation of plant developmental processes. I am interested in how the expression of genes is controlled by transcription factors and epigenetic mechanisms. I am head of a research group consisting of students, PhD students, post-docs, technicians, and researchers. Together we focus our research on the transcriptional regulation of several developmental processes such as flowering time control, floral organ and fruit development, and embryogenesis.
