About Geremiah Charles

From a very young age I witnessed how the lack of access to health resources and an ever growing toxic environment drastically impacted different communities around the world. As one of the youngest Eagle Scouts on the east coast, I was lucky enough to interact and engage with a variety of communities and cultures. Along the way, I discovered what even a little access and education can do for an individual's quality of life and health outcomes. This led me to my overall goal of creating accessible holistic wellness environments around the world. That means environments that are clean and toxin free, as well as, ones that nurture fitness, nutrition, and safe social spaces. This is the reason why I became an engineer, and the reason why I created Fit Local. I wanted the knowledge and skills to impact a community from the ground up. To make sure that community is clean, innovating for the future AND properly supporting the health and education of its people. This pursuit also led me to Ecolab, a global leader in not only sustainability and health, but also science and technology. I strive to always increase my knowledge and gain more experience to help achieve my goals and they provided an opportunity for me to grow utilizing my engineering background. Thus far, I helped facilitate the first national sale of new their new innovative technology platform and generate over 3% growth in the district.
