My deep interest in data analytics, economics, and financial markets led me to transition into my previous role as a Research Analyst at Diligent Corporation, where I conducted thorough data analysis and visualization to provide insights on business governance and financial regulatory issues. In my previous role as an Urban Planner at Gateshead Council, I gained valuable experience in developing and implementing policy initiatives to improve communities' socio-economic well-being. I also collaborated with a wide range of stakeholders, including community organisations, business groups, and elected officials to ensure that policies and building proposals are aligned with the needs and goals of diverse communities. My urban planning and policy analysis background has strengthened my analytical and problem-solving skills, allowing me to analyse complex datasets, identify trends and patterns, and provide actionable recommendations. I brought this same rigour and attention to detail to my work at Diligent Corporation. In addition to my professional experience, I am continuously sharpening my data analytics skills through learning SQL, R and Tableau to effectively process and communicate data. I am excited to bring this knowledge to my next role.
