About Gerhard Diebl

Experienced aviation and defense professional with 35+ years in the development, production planning, and qualification of complex avionic and cabin systems. At Diehl Aviation, my responsibilities include production planning for safety-critical systems—such as fire protection, oxygen supply, water and air management, fuel pumps, and smoke detection—used in both civil and military aircraft, as well as rail applications. Certified under §20 of the German Explosives Act (SprengG), I ensure full legal compliance in the handling of explosive materials. Within the Diehl Group, I am recognized as a subject matter expert in production engineering and serve at our Gilching site as the technical authority for the special processes "Conformal Coating" and "Encapsulation of Electronics." I’m passionate about precision, safety, and driving innovation in aerospace technology.
