Currently I am Business Unit Manager for the Legacy and Mature business groups within onsemi- From 2017 to October 2024 I have worked as Business Development Manager Foundry (World Wide) for onsemi- From 2012 to 2016 I have been working as program manager for HV-MOSFET developments for ON semiconductor Oudenaarde- From 2008 to dec 2012 I have managed as project manager several successful research projects in the field of embedded high-voltage and power devices, ranging from embedded 700V devices on SOI to novel HV devices in advanced CMOS nodes- From 2005 to 2008 I've been involved in the field of MEMS timing devices, where I have been leading the development of MEMS timing devices in NXP-Leuven- In 2001 started working as a senior scientist for Philips Research (later NXP-semiconductors) in the field of discrete power devices- I have done my PhD research at the University of Leuven in the nuclear solid-state physics group on a study of the forming and dynamics of metallic nano-particles in oxide layers. My MSc. studies was performed at the university of Groningen in the optical solid-state physics group. I have authored over 30 peer-reviewed papers and over 10 patents in the field of micro-electronics. See for publication list.
