Gerry Dameron is the author of the recently published research guidebook entitled: Lucrative Sustainability, Proven Solutions for Local Governments / How Cities and Counties are Making Millions by Going Green. The large-format color guidebook showcases the Go Green Institute's top 30 selections (out of 250 projects researched from all around the world) of sustainability projects and programs for cities and counties that a) slash carbon and other GHG emissions, b) restore or protect valuable regional ecological resources, and c) create an average of $40 million per project in net Green cash flow for the local governments over a twenty year period. The immense practical & economic value of the research guidebook is summarized in a recently released video: GoFundMe/Go-Green-Cities. Gerry was one of the four (4) citizens who engaged the Hawaii state legislature in 2012 with a draft bill for Hawaii to go to 100% renewable energy by 2035. After a 3 year campaign, the legislation drafted by Gerry's attorney was adapted, passed, and signed into law in June of 2015 by Governor Ige, making Hawaii the first state in the US to be mandated by law to go to 100% renewable energy by 2045. Gerry has been a speaker, author, and Green business entrepreneur in the renewable energy and sustainability business sector for over 30 years. Gerry has launched, grown and/or managed multiple fast-growth multi-million-dollar companies in solar energy, wind power, energy storage, energy efficiency contracting and financing, electric vehicle manufacturing, as well as leadership consulting and training.
