About Gerry Doyle
A business leader with more than 20 years’ professional experience, Gerry is the Chief Executive Officer of Tonkin and Agrisano Fresh. After completing his Bachelor of Civil Engineering at the University of Adelaide, Gerry has spent the majority of his career at Tonkin – a national engineering and environmental consulting firm, with its head office based in Adelaide. Gerry’s passion for water engineering saw him lead the business’s water team, before becoming the company’s CEO in 2011. Agrisanso Fresh arose as a result of Tonkin’s early involvement in the design of the Northern Adelaide Irrigation Scheme – an initiative of the South Australian government which aims secure large volumes of affordable, high security, recycled water to grow agricultural industries in the Northern Adelaide Plains. Gerry realised Tonkin’s experts were well placed to do the groundwork needed to launch a sustainable, high-tech agricultural business, so Agrisano Fresh was born.
